Château Biston-Brillette has cultivated vines since it was owned by M. Biston in the early 19th century. Since 1963, the 25-hectare vineyard has been managed by M. Michel Barbarin. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot vines with an average age of 19 years. Soils are calcareous and gravely soils.
We feature the 2008 Moulis, which is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. The grapes were sourced from 18 year old vines, destemmed, and vinified using traditional techniques. The wine was barrel-aged in 25-35% new oak for 12 to 14 months.
